Is mining small PoW blockchains worth it? Personally, I think so! I tried mining one with some older hardware and, while the profits weren’t huge, it kept the machine busy and felt rewarding. Does anyone else dabble in these smaller projects? I bet papa’s freezeria still generates more revenue, though.
Mining is going to continue being a key pillar of the Ethereum Classic ecosystem in 2025. ETC happens to be one of the final important PoW blockchains and offers a place for miners, especially as older mining hardware is slowly decommissioned from other networks. This factor can be an influencing agent on the Ethereum Classic price prediction since miner support almost always tends to go hand in hand with the security and long-term sustainability of the network.
